  • Admin – Allow Scheduling of Invalidated Meeting Proposals.  Before this change you had to delete invalidated proposals and then rerun the proposal algorithms
  • Admin – Concurrent meeting error messages now include meeting time. Previously it was difficult to debug concurrent meeting errors caused by the scheduler since the error message did not mention the meeting time.
  • Admin – Meeting Recommendations: Export profiles as PDF document.  As an attendee you can export your recommended company profiles.  As an exhibitor you can export the recommended user profiles.

  • Admin – Recommendations export: Column headers updated
  • Admin – Remove size validation on branding desktop banner – We decided to remove this as several clients use different sized website banners.  All other validation restrictions for ads/branding remain in place.
  • AdminNotification page revamp:  We re-ordered the notifications page and added additional options for survey reminders and event/meeting notifications.
    • Event (session) Notifications – If enabled on the ‘notifications page’ a notification will get sent to a user 10 minutes before their event (session) is going to start.  If they tap on the notification on their lock screen or from the notification list the session profile will open.
    • Meeting Notification – If enabled on the ‘notifications page’ a notification will get sent to a user 10 minutes before their meeting is going to start. If they tap on the notification on their lock screen or from the notification list the meeting profile will open.
    • Survey Reminders – If enabled on the ‘notifications page’ a notification will get sent to a user as the session finishes.  If they tap on the notification on their lock screen or from the notification list the survey will open to complete.  You MUST be using the Zerista premium survey package with Survey Gimzo for this functionality to work.
      • You need version 241 on iOS and 11.7 on Android to use these changes
      • NOTE** These changes to notifications are NOT supported on iOS 9.  Apple dramatically changed local notification support in iOS 10 that allowed Zerista to build this functionality.

February 20, 2017

  • Admin – Ads: Website interstitials re-eneabled.  The UI section was added to setup for standard campaign creation.  Remember, this is a website only feature for advertising.
  • Admin – Ads: Enable asset size validations.  This won’t validate the exact dimensions, but will check to see if the uploaded image is close enough to the required size. For example an event had a image 4000×6000 while the desired size was 960×1600. We added validation to make sure the size is at least 960 (+ / – 500) x 1600 (+ / – 500). So that means the width can be between: 460 – 1460 and height can be between 1100 – 2100. So obviously this validation won’t catch any aspect ratio issues, but will catch any images that are way too different from the required size.
  • AppsRecommendation tiles in home page activity feed.  If you are using interest tags you can now have recommendation tiles appear in the activity feed.  They will appear after your first sponsorship post (if you are using those).   You will need to reset your app home page ui section to get the latest setup in  You able to have tiles for attendees, sessions, exhibitors, sponsors, and posters.  They are individual sections that will display in the activity feed spaced out by the number of posts in your feed.  If you do not have tags against yourself you will not see these sections in the feed (so if you are not using tags you do not need to make changes to your event setup).  You have the ability to customize the text that appears for the recommendation section header, you can change the order of the tiles, and you can lastly set the number of tiles the user can scroll horizontally (default is 5 for all tile types). (you must have version 239 on iOS or 11.6 on android to see this change).

  • Admin – Translation change: Switching parent event triggers terminology to update in child event.  Here is the scenario this addresses:
    • You have 2 parent events: A & B
    • Find the same terminology field in both parent events and update the wording to be different in each.
    • create a third event and make it a child of parent A
    • check that terminology field and see it should says the wording from parent A
    • Change the parent from A to B
    • Check that terminology field and see it now says the wording from parent B instead of parent A
  • Admin – Ads: Added validation to banner urls to force https urls

  • App – Layout: Added library and my survey as standard on apps under ‘my event’ (this will only appear if you are using the default layout.  If you have had your Zerista PM customize your view your changes will not be overwritten).
  • App/Website – Sponsor Posting: Ability to have interactive sponsor ads on website side bar and app home page activity feed (you must have version 236 on ios or 11.5 on android to see this change).
  • AppContainer app: Ability to have individual splash screens per event in your container (you must have version 236 on ios or 11.5 on android to see this change).
